One down,....

Right, so I hit my first jogging marker today without feeling like I desperately needed to breathe, so I think I'll keep that up for a week and then look at adding another four blocks or so. Ironically, the achievement was due to me forcing myself to halve my stride length; I have really long legs and when I run I tend to use all of them, but that's quickly tiring, so I figured why not try for better miles-per-breath than speed. Plus I need to get used to regulating myself.

In important news, I finished off one of the major projects that I'd hung over my head—as a few people already know—and I figure I might as well submit it to you guys for inspection, seeing as how it was a pretty intense piece of compiling and re-wording based on hours and hours of AIM discussion. I tried to give it a definite National Geographic feel (yes, Sabrina), and I think I did okay.

And for the record, this bit was done for the project linked above and below the above banner. It should give you an idea of the lengths we've gone to to make sense of the initial mediocre concept and its gaping holes.

And I seem to have a distinct knack for avoiding the indefinite 'this' at all costs. =P
